Our commitment to Gospel living and religious life in the Church begins by first loving our sisters in community. Valuing this essential aspect of our life, we incarnate Gospel community through living a common life of prayer and recreation, fostering sisterly forgiveness and support, and taking initiative in creating an atmosphere of unity, love, and joy. Supporting each other on our spiritual journey is an essential part of our fraternal life. Meeting in small groups three times a month to share our life with each other on a deeper level and to encourage each other is one way we seek to show support for one another.

We also nurture our fraternal life through activities like our periodic community vacation where we are able to take a few days to enjoy each other's company in a more relaxed setting. We also have an annual Community Week where we celebrate our life in common with fun activities.

Prayer

As sisters, we find strength in living our call to be penitents for others by supporting one another in prayer. In our love for one another, we desire that each of our sisters grows in holiness. Our intercession, prayer ministry, and sacrifice for one another are primary ways we strengthen each other in the Spirit and find encouragement in our time of need...Our prayer for one another is an essential part of what it means to be sisters in the Spirit." (Constitutions #70)
Praying over each other

Sisters by the fire
Our common life becomes most joyful and life-giving when we each truly give ourselves to creating an atmosphere of unity, love, and trust. Sisterhood is formed through spending time together, enjoying one another's presence, and sharing the joys and challenges of daily life in our journey of faith.(Constitutions #68)
Sisters playing games outside
A few evenings a week we set aside time to spend together. It is a break from our day to reconnect with each other. During these times we enjoy doing various activities from playing games, to sitting around a fire and talking, to playing sports or hiking.
